Toronto Canada Chapter
Chapter Lead: Toronto
Meet Kristy! | @carsbykho
Kristy's passion for Porsche started at a very early age. She grew up with the influence of her dad being in Porsche sales since 1999. He is the biggest Porsche enthusiast and classic collector that she knows. When she turned 18 years old, her dad brought her to the track for her first experience in a 996 on the DDT of Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. Shortly following this experience, Kristy knew that she wanted to be more involved.
Kristy's journey with Porsche began when she worked at a Porsche dealership at the age of 19 as a part-time lot attendant. She quickly moved up to being a Porsche Pro that same year, where she was responsible for the delivery and after-sales experience. From the Porsche Ice Experience at Circuit Mécaglisse to the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta, Kristy quickly fell in love with the brand. Porsche never fails to leave a smile on her face. Track days on the GP track at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park started to become a regular hobby of hers. In 2019, Kristy and her dad hosted their very first five-day rally together, where they brought 25 cars and 50 Porsche enthusiasts from Kingston to Boston, Lake Placid, Palmer Motorsports Park, and our last stop in Montauk, New York.
Although Kristy decided to return to school to finish her degree in Economics, she continues to be very involved with the Porsche community in Toronto. The people that Kristy have met through this journey with Porsche have become the closest people and the biggest inspiration in her life. Kristy is excited to be a part of WiP and her goal is to bring more incredible women together who share the same passion for Porsche.
